Fairtrade is a global movement which guaranties better prices, decent working conditions and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers. Regarding the environment Fairtrade also plays a very central role and focuses on the health of the workers and the production-related destruction of nature. To protect soil and water Fairtrade certified manufactures are not allowed to use hazardous pesticides.
As a manufacturer, we are aware of our responsibility for people and our environment. We want to limit our impact on the environment as much as possible to create a sustainable world. One of the most important tasks is to ensure better working conditions for the people involved in our production, regardless whether they are farmers or workers. Our focus is on transparency throughout the supply chain.
The growing awareness and changing behavior of our consumers shows that our customers now wants to make a difference with Fairtrade. Customers want to buy products with a clear conscience, and products that ensure better conditions for the people who are involved in the production process. We have to follow the Fairtrade standards all the way along the supply chain, which are controlled by independent companies. It provides the consumer with a great deal of transparency throughout the entire work process.
