Kent Thomsen

Kent is the newly appointed Chairman of the Board and brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience from global companies within consumer goods, marketing, and digital business development. He has extensive expertise in strategic transformation, international growth, brand building, and the digitalization of business models across B2B and B2C markets.

Previously, Kent served as Managing Director for L’Oréal in the DACH region and the Nordics, and as Vice President Global Marketing at the LEGO Group. He has also spent more than 10 years working for a U.S.-based private equity organization.

In addition to his work with Kentaur, Kent Thomsen serves on the boards of several Danish companies and teaches leadership, marketing, and international business development at institutions including SDU Business School.

Ilhami Alici

As newly appointed Interim CEO and board member, Ilhami brings more than 20 years of executive management and board-level experience.

Ilhami is the CEO of Elkær Equity, who is majority owner of Kentaur. He has a strong background in industrial management, business strategy, and supply chain optimization. His career spans C-level roles, private equity leadership, and hands-on transformation across international markets.

He is known for building high-performing teams, fostering trust, and developing companies through internationalization, scalability, and business transformation. His leadership is grounded in practical business insight, strong communication, and a consistent focus on sustainable growth and innovation.

Mette Brøndum

Mette has served on the board of Kentaur A/S since 2020. She is a professional board member in several companies and founder of Brøndum‑Insight, where she advises companies on business strategy, transformation and organisational development. Her work is centred on creating clarity in strategic direction, unlocking change potential and supporting sustainable, long‑term growth.

With a strong commercial background and extensive international experience in developing business models within the professional B2B market, Mette brings both strategic insight and a people‑focused approach to her board roles. She previously served as CEO of Lindab and has built her career around helping organisations grow through clear strategy, strong leadership and a healthy, performance‑driven culture.
